The latest word on CSEC, as reported by the CBC, should make people start to wake up and wonder just exactly what is going on with our government.
A report shows the CSEC was misusing public funds and had found serious breaches of the regulations that are supposed to be governing the individuals of that agency that have tremendous power to investigate into our personal lives, without apparent controls it would seem, and to use this information in contravention to established regulations.
This can include medical information, financial records, religious and political affiliations — data that can be used against a person if someone in an important position decided to do so.
And we are told what happened in regards to these data breaches? Nothing.
