Espresso Book Machine Makes Publication Accessible

McMaster University's bookstore, Titles, has allowed the dreams of publication for authors to become a reality. In 2008, Titles purchased an Espresso Book Machine (EBM), a device which can print off bound paperback books in approximately 15 minutes. Rather than jumping the hurdles required by the mainstream publishing industry, self publication using the EBM is an easy and affordable alternative. Titles also provides authors with the opportunity to sell their newly printed books in the store, giving writers easy access to the market. The device also can print any number of Print on Demand titles available to consumers.
